RACE and PERSONALITY
Many believe there are innate race differences in personality traits, but since there is less research on this topic than race and IQ, the evidence is less conclusive. Many researchers who find personality differences have strong incentives -- given the political climate in modern universities -- to assign a purely environmental cause to them, whether or not they believe this is true. It is considered taboo to claim, for example, that Europeans are more individualistic and less clannish than Africans, or that Europeans have higher levels of affective empathy than Australian Aborigines largely due to genetic differences.
